Is the quiet ones a good movie?
With its intelligent approach to its story, a solid cast, and just enough scares to keep the interest from flagging, The Quiet Ones is a worthy if slightly flawed entry into the Hammer canon. A script crying for a horror backbone is frustratingly weak for the most part, its tedious jump-scares no substitute.
