What is EdReady Placement test?

Once you take EdReady’s initial English, reading, and/or math assessment(s), EdReady uses your test score to build a personalized study path where you focus only on the knowledge gaps — allowing you to skip the areas you understand and accelerate your mastery of the need-to-know concepts to be placed in a course.

How do I log into EdReady?

To log in to EdReady, click the Log In link found in the header. A dropdown window will appear: enter your Email & Password and click the Log In button to enter the site.

How does EdReady work?

When you create an account on EdReady, you will be able to choose the goals you want to pursue or enter a key to choose restricted goals. Each goal will direct you to one or more study paths, or might direct you to a site outside of EdReady.

How long does EdReady take?

It will take about one hour to complete the diagnostic. If you don’t know something, be sure to use the Pass button. If you aren’t sure of a question and want to come back to it, use the Hold button. If you need to leave the diagnostic before you finish, click Save and close.

How much does EdReady cost?

EdReady™ is available at no cost for personal use at EdReady.org. EdReady™ is also available to many students through any a number of institutional versions that have been customized for specific educational needs and outcomes.

Is EdReady timed?

EdReady is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a web-based program, available through any web browser or wherever you access the Internet. It can be used at any time to prep for the placement test, as a skills placement, or for any of the math classes that are numbered at or below M 162.

Can you retake EdReady?

EdReady has no built-in ability to retake the initial diagnostic because it is not a high-stakes exam. Achieving your target score is considered to be the final test result and it indicates that you are “ready” for whatever your goal is.

How do you retake a test on EdReady?

After you have mastered all of the topics in the unit, you can take the unit test again. On the right sidebar, the “Units you have mastered” section shows you the units where you have demonstrated mastery of all the topics. Click on any of these, and the Unit Test will be available to retake.
