Is Vista faster than Windows XP?

Windows XP runs faster than Vista on the same hardware—not true. Mostly this has to do with drivers. For hardware that has Vista drivers, it tends to run very similar as running on XP. This is because all hardware RAM takes up an allocation of addressed memory.
