Is EC90 any good?
The Easton EC90 Aero Bar is a bladed handlebar designed to reduce drag and it certainly looks great with an aggressive shape and smart styling. The bars tipped our scales at 243g rather than the 230g claimed weight – this is still in the same ballpark as other carbon aero handlebars.
Are EC90 forks good?
It feels stable, strong and efficient. There’s no flex or wandering when weight goes over the front wheel. At 6-foot-4 and 192 pounds, I’m able to put a good deal of pressure onto the fork when standing on steep climbs. The EC90 SL accepts it without apparent strain.
How are riser bars measured?
Rise: Your bars’ rise is measured from the knurled area in the centre of the bottom part of your bars (where the bars clamp into the stem) up to the highest part of the bar ends.
Are carbon handlebars safe?
Scratches and cuts in the carbon can jeopardize the structural integrity of the bar. If you do have a big crash on your bike, it’s important to go through and inspect your carbon handlebars to see if they are damaged at all. When it comes down to it, if your carbon bars do break, they will break catastrophically.

Are EC90 carbon bars any good?
5.0 out of 5 stars Love these bars. Swapped out my aluminum bars for these as I wanted wider bars and carbon fiber to reduce the vibration. They are great. I got the 760 which is the widest they offer.
How wide of handlebars should I get?
The standard fitting advice is to get a handlebar as wide as the measurement between your AC joints. Those are the bumps atop your shoulders where the collarbone attaches just inboard of your deltoid muscle. But many riders prefer a handlebar slightly wider than their shoulders. A wide bar opens the chest.
How high should bike handlebars be?
The general rule for adjusting handlebars is that they should be set above the height of the seat for a more upright and comfortable riding position, and below the height of the seat for a more forwarding-leaning, performance oriented position.
Are carbon bars worth the money?
While their lighter weight is a benefit, the more important improvements are its enhanced vibration damping and added stiffness that makes them worth the increased cost over aluminum handlebars. Naturally, the cost will play a factor in any gear-related upgrade decision.
Are one up carbon bars worth it?
These OneUp bars feel closer to those 31.8mm sticks we enjoyed in the dust laden antiquity of 4 years past. They offer enough flex and vibration damping to keep my hands and wrists far happier than other large clamp bars, without sacrificing the lateral cornering stiffness that 35mm bars are known for.

Are Easton handlebars good?
Unlikely to be an issue and Easton has a very good reputation. There are lighter aero bars available and some that are lighter and cheaper. Damping on small bumps is reasonably good, and the flat top sections give a nice comfortable position for hands, although I have used other bars that give even more comfort.
