Excellent pay and benefits. Overall great place to work with job security. Long 12 hour shifts, but balanced out with time off. I would recommend Barry Callebaut as a great long term career.

The rep said it is a higher quality cocoa, than the original Callebaut. Bendsdorp is almost as good as Valrhona or Pernigotti. I am not tin a rush to try the regular Callebaut, if Bendsdorp is better, and it’s still not my favorite. I am am about to order to Extra Brute and am very anxious to try it.

I still consider Callebaut an excellent value brand; it’s more than good enough for anything where the distinctiveness of a single-origin chocolate won’t shine through, and costs 1/2 to 1/3 the price of the highest end chocolates. Like most value brands, the flavors are solid but not especially interesting.
