Ohlins states that 30k interval to provide the maxiumum performance and in the “worst” of wear/conditions. Like if you drove on a washboard for 3 years straight. When doing my own research, I asked an owner who shock dyno’d his after about 30k miles and he said it was almost the same as 0 miles.
