Is Boma good?
In terms of ambiance, Boma is solid. The lighting is low and moody, and to the extent that a Walt Disney World buffet can be romantic, Boma is. (That extent isn’t very great for those wondering, but still…) Its design features motifs of pillars, thatches of sticks, huts, and animal carvings.

If you want to experience cuisine with some African flare, I would suggest dinner over breakfast at Boma – Flavors of Africa. There are some unique options on the dinner buffet that you will enjoy. There are also some more traditional foods for those who may not be as adventurous!
Can you see animals at Boma?
You cannot see the animals from the restaurant, but you are able to go for a walk around the hotel and see the animals, even if not saying at the hotel or eating at any of the restaurants. AKL is well worth a visit and Boma is one of my favourite restaurants in WDW 😉 over a year ago.
