How long does it take to get approved for heap?

Who can apply for Erap?
A household may qualify based on current income or calendar year 2020 income that is at or below 120 percent AMI. Households with income above 80% AMI are eligible for a State-funded ERAP payment so long as funds remain available.
How long does it take for Erap to be approved?
The State is working through a backlog of applications. Once the backlog of applications is addressed, it will take 2 weeks to hear back from the agency that will be processing your application.
