It makes a good entry-level kayak because it is small enough for one person to carry back and forth to the vehicle and load and unload – I’m not saying it’s easy but I can do it and I’ve been on many fun solo trips in it. It is also stable and easy to handle. It is great for gentle lakes and rivers.
