I am also a pool owner, and I have tried PLEATCO filters. I have to say, they are a good alternative. There is a noticeable improvement in the water flow of the pool which translates to a nice crisp and clear look to your pool water. The filtration ability is as good as any comparable filters.

DO NOT clean spa filters in the dishwasher! It’s not very effective and could damage the filter. Dry dishwasher soap is OK, but laundry detergent is NOT OK. Remember to rinse the filter thoroughly after soaking to remove all chemical traces.
